Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement") before using our website and the ReceptAI service. By accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of Service

ReceptAI provides an AI-powered receptionist service that answers your business phone calls 24/7 with a natural AI voice, responds to caller questions based on the scripts and FAQs you provide, qualifies leads, books appointments into your business calendar, and transfers calls to a human when needed.

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Conduct illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive call activity
  • Record or process calls without the consents required by applicable telephony and call-recording laws
  • Provide scripts, FAQs, or other business content that infringes rights you do not own or hold a license to
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse callers or third parties

We may refuse service for violations.

2. Payments

Payments for paid subscription plans are processed by secure third-party services (such as Stripe). We do not store your payment details.

3. AI Output Disclaimer

AI responses, call transcripts, and call summaries are generated automatically.

We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy or completeness of AI answers given to callers
  • Word-for-word accuracy of call recordings and transcripts
  • Correctness of appointment details captured during calls
  • That every call will be answered or transferred successfully

The AI receptionist is an automated assistant. You are responsible for reviewing appointment data and any business-critical information captured on your behalf.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your business content (scripts, FAQs, knowledge-base materials) and of your call recordings, transcripts, and appointment data. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide and improve the Service for you.

All website content, branding, software, and AI models belong to ReceptAI.

5. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Data loss
  • Service interruptions, or missed or dropped calls
  • Inaccurate AI responses, transcripts, or booking details
  • User misuse of call recordings, transcripts, or caller data

Use the service at your own risk.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate service access for violations of these Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction unless otherwise specified.

8. Subscriptions, Plans & Billing

8.1 Subscription Service

ReceptAI is offered as a subscription service. By purchasing a subscription, you obtain access to certain features and call capacity ("Subscription") on a recurring, automatically renewing basis until cancelled.

8.2 Plans and Pricing

We currently offer two paid plans: Starter at $49 per month (includes up to 100 call minutes per month) and Growth at $149 per month (unlimited call minutes). Each plan starts with a 3-day trial and is backed by a 7-day money-back guarantee (see Section 8.6). Plan features and prices are described on our website and may be updated from time to time.

8.2.1 Trial

Each plan begins with a 3-day trial. You are not charged at the start of the trial and receive full access during the trial period. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to the then-current monthly price (currently $49/month for Starter, $149/month for Growth).

8.3 Payment Authorization and Renewal

When you subscribe to a paid plan, and on each subsequent billing date, you authorize us and our payment processor (such as Stripe, Apple Pay, or Google Pay) to charge the payment method on file for the applicable subscription fee until you cancel. Your Subscription renews automatically at the then-current price of your plan.

8.4 Recurring Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis (or as otherwise disclosed at checkout). Your Subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it in accordance with Section 8.5. We may change the subscription price from time to time; any change will be communicated to you in advance and will take effect on your next billing cycle unless you cancel before that date.

8.5 How to Cancel

You may cancel your Subscription at any time from your account page on our website or by contacting our support at support@aireceptionist.ai. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to have access to the Subscription until that time. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current billing period to avoid being charged for the next period.

8.6 Money-Back Guarantee

Every paid plan is backed by a 7-day money-back guarantee: if you are charged after your trial and are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of that charge for a full refund. Outside of this guarantee, payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used billing periods or unused call minutes, except where required by law. Following any cancellation, you will continue to have access to the Subscription through the end of your paid billing period.

8.7 Failed Payments & Suspension

If a payment is declined or cannot be processed, we may attempt to re-process the charge. If payment remains unsuccessful, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Subscription until payment is successfully processed. We are not responsible for any fees or charges imposed on you by your bank or payment provider in connection with our processing of your payments.

8.8 Promotions and Changes

Any promotional offers, discounts, or trial periods are temporary and subject to change. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Subscription (in whole or in part) upon reasonable notice, provided that such changes will not apply retroactively to billing periods you have already paid for.
